Post your RARE PRS stuff!

You're nearly there! Just find the guard and TRC (that's the truly rare part).

I knew I didn’t have a rare guitar.

If only one is rare, I present you with truly rare:

Core (Non-PS) CE, Koa top, birds, flame neck

or Core (non-PS) solid 1 piece body/top English Walnut

and Core (non-PS) claro walnut back

and Core (not PS) Spalted Maple top (1st)

and Core (not PS) burl maple top (1st)

And while I’m not posting PSs (since many are 1-offs to some degree), this one is truly unique and rare with a bolt-on neck and Celtic knots (no longer available as a PS option).

Holy buckets, those are beauts.

I wouldn’t consider these to be rare, but they are uncommon.

One off Collection grade woods - ordered by Jim at Guitar Resurrection when the Collection Series first came out. Basically, select original dealers were allowed to spec their own 1-off Collection grade guitar as a thank you from PRS for selling the Collection Series. At least that is how it was explained to me. Paul signed the case when I brought it to a local event at my dealer several years ago.

Not sure how many Pernie neck guitars have a piezo.

I might have posted this before, LOL

Well I don’t think of my Archtops as being particularly rare but have a look.

This is my Archtop IV - apparently it was the last one off the production line. This one sounds like a beast. I have strung it with 11’s with a plain G.

and it’s flamey arse ….

Back of the headstock (story for another time)

And my Archtop II - This one I keep strung with 12’s and wound G. It’s tone is huge!

And headstock signed by PRSh and Joe Knaggs “More MoJo”. Cos this one has more mojo than most.

I’ve only seen one Rosewood Limited tremolo ever. Don’t have a pic but sure wish I’d bought it. It was for sale in Chicago some years ago.
