Hello world!

I registered in this forum because I'm a lucky owner of a PRS Custom 22 2013, and I need an advice about pickup replacement.
My guitar was initially equipped with two 57/08 TM, but what I was looking for was a more uniform sound (especially for medium and high gain).

So I mounted my old couple of pickups from my Ibanez, the Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz, and I got a powerful and warm sound, perfect for hard rock 80s.
The attack is amazing and the sound overall is very versatile, but I think there is better.

I would like a sound with more character and colour.
For example, I like very much the sound of Blues Saraceno.

There is no one who has ever tried to use a Seymour Duncan PATB-3b in a PRS Custom 22??

Thanks in advance

Alberto

My CU22 sports a Seynour Duncan 36 Anv in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge courtesy of CRGTR and I could not be more happy :)

Dragon 1's. It's what is meant to be in a CU22.

Thanks for the answers!

I don't know if I can find a old Dragon, can you describe me the tone?

I read on many forums that people use the Custom SH-5 and '59 SH-1 to play hard rock, to get a powerful PAF tone.
Is there anyone that uses this combination on a PRS?

The SD Tone Wizard suggests to use a Antiquity Humbucker or APH-1n Alnico 2 Pro for the neck.

Any experiences??? :)
