I come by my love of figured wood from my dad. I used to go with him to saw mills looking for figured wood when I was a youngster. I guess it rubbed off on me.

I was fortunate enough to see some 11top's stash in person. He was quite the host.

I'm doing cardio on the treadmill so won't take time to go for all seven, but 4 is mahogany from The Tree. I will never in my life forget that guitar.

I have been to the 11Top Library and the PRS Wood Library a few times now. There is actually more exotic wood in Steve's than Paul's!!!

Is that a plank of purple heart in the first two pics I see???

I think I see a Giant hunk of English walnut with 2 guitars in it??
