In the collector world, even a soldering job from pickup change devalues if it is really a collector guitar. Some of the provenance goes down the drain. I don't know what it is worth ; if it is basically close to present day similar models then, it is not a big deal. However, I don't know who Mr. Grissom is. I'm 69.

Wow, very cool. I think we all suspected that and it's nice to have it confirmed. Now you know you have to leave the guitar exactly as it is but you can still play the hell out of it and enjoy it.
