Got a new S2 594 today!
Wowsers! In short, if I hadn't seen a Core or didn't know something better than this S2 exists, I could have mistaken than for a top-of-the-line guitar.
The finish is flawless. The playability is off-the-charts. Like nothing else I've owned or played. So easy to do anything on this one. Perfect neck shape.
Why put up with a Les Paul when you can have something this light, this slick and this playable that sounds so similar, and does everything that little bit easier? (Les Pauls are nice and I want one; what I mean is that if you don't absolutely want one of those, you can get to a similar place without many of the LP drawbacks.)
Too bad this new guitar can't be had with stainless frets, because I see myself wearing them out playing it nonstop for a long time! It just plays so much better than anything else I have, the rest is just clunky in comparison.
I'm really happy with this one!
