NGD - 2014 Paul's Guitar Yellow Tiger

I just picked up this 2014 Paul's Guitar last week, I'm really liking it, great playing and sounding guitar. It has a few nicks here and there but it's in pretty good shape. Only bad thing is it was signed on the back of the headstock by PRS to John and my name is not John lol. Doesn't really bother me though.

I took the pickups out and the bridge is a Brent Mason Treble.
Did these come from the factory with that pickup?

What's the difference between a 408 and Brent Mason pickup?
(Note: I don't have the hang tag and the MODCAT shows 408 or Paul's guitar for the pu's)

The neck pickup is a 408.

If I'm not mistaken, all Paul's guitars have the two screw TRC. No idea why.

I see on some new listings they changed to the single screw TRC. Even more interesting. Looks like 2018 might be the break.

Nevermind, truss rod cover, duh. Didn't really pay attention to that and I even had to adjust a little bit.

Artist tops were standard too on the 2014's.

Beautiful! I do love that bird style! And for "John" being on it, I love that, it shows the history of the instrument as its moved through its life. Enjoy it!
