New Guitar Sunday

Could not be more different from my DGT. Still getting used to it. These PUPs sustain 4ever. I generally keep my volume at 10 but with these turning down to 5 gives me a level that works better for my style of music an playing. The guitar is brighter and clearly the PUPS are MUCH hotter than the DGT. I find the pattern thin neck easier for me to play high on the neck. I thought it might be an issue relative to the DGT. While different, I find I like this neck profile works as well. Need more time with it, but I like the idea of having one vintage sounding PRS and one that is very modern.
 
I can't see the front either. Which PRS is it. That back looks hot!
 
No need for an overdrive with these pickups. In fact, even with a pretty clean amp I turn the volume down to about 7 to get a clean(ish) sound. So I have figured out how to get a clean tone I like and of course you can get any degree of nasty you like all the up to metal overdriven harmonic scream. Not really my cup of tea, but is nice to know it is there.
