New Archon 50w Head

Well the new Archon 50w Head came in today
and after letting it warm up for a while, We hooked it up and played some
It has some amazing tone
both channels are great
We played several different guitars through each and each one sounded great
I was gifted some absolutely mint Marshall 412s and they worked very well together

This one is a keeper

Back when I was 19, in full on 1st get punk mode, and on a fast track to ear-damaged Heaven, my back line was two sets of those - with a HiWatt on top of each stack. Gain only had one setting and was very occasionally moderated by the knob(s) on my Rose-Morris Ricky. If I was really really lucky I could occasionally hear my monitor! I still have the '64 Ricky but the Marshalls and HiWatts are sadly long gone - fortunately long enough gone for me not to have to have learned sign language!
