Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard

Has anyone played any of the PRS Artist package guitars having a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Curious as to how they sound - hum and split coil tones. For instance, on a DGT does the maple neck add too much brightness? What happens to the fundamental vs. overtones? How's the midrange hang? Stuff like that.
