I don't know if the link will work on not...

    YouTube it, if need be.

Vernon and his gold Vela sounded and looked most excellent!

    That was a solid performance.

Reminded me that their CD was in my first-ever CD purchase, along with two XTC CDs.

$18.99 for a CD. Those were the days.

And if the album sucked, you tried damn hard to like it anyway.

Man, I don't remember the first CD I bought, but I do remember the first album I bought with my own money. A bus ride downtown to Woolworth's, and some hard earned paper route money, netted Woman and Children First, and Highway to Hell in 1980. I was 12.

I do. It was Whitney Houston ... I had been gifted a CD player and there wasn't a big selection of CD's to play on it yet.

I got three CDs in my first batch. One was Phil Collins "No Jacket Required". Not sure if the other two - I want to say one was Amy Grant's "Unguarded", but I think that's wrong.

My first 8-tracks I remember - Kansas "Leftoverture", the debut Boston album, and a K-Tel collection.

I love these guys and they definitely got me to listen to and enjoy kinds of music that I never had before.

It's all good, I didn't start touring in a van until the 10th grade... so you were close.

If it's any consolation, my first concert was Loverboy.

Got off to a good start with my first two CDs though: Stanley Jordan - Magic Touch, and SRV's Couldn't Stand the Weather.

Forgot to add: enjoyed LC clip, the new album rocks.

This tune came out in the 90's.
The message means even more today.
