Legit PRS Custom 24 SE?

Hi All

I am talking with a guy who is selling a PRS Custom 24 SE for under $300. If its true, its probably a good deal. But, I am not sure about it. Can someone tell me if they think this is legit, and what the appx value should be? Its serial number CE116705. My concern is that it was made in Korea, and I would expect the bird inlays, not dot.

I appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Yeah, looks legit. Early SE Custom 24's had dot inlays...birds weren't introduced to the SE line until 2010, I believe. Also, early SE's were manufactured in Korea, with production recently moving to Indonesia.

It does look like some sort of modification has been done to this guitar with the mini-toggle.

It's real. Should be a 2008 or 2009. They did the custom 24 right before the 25th anniversary in 2010 and that's when the SE birds started.

My first electric guitar was the same color from around the same time but the custom 22. They're great.
