Custom 24 Rosewood Headstock Maintenance.

Hello all.

I am the blessed owner of this beautiful Custom 24.

I have never made any special care efforts to the headstock.

It looks like its rosewood. I am wondering if this needs treatment just as the fingerboard does. Does anyone know if this is actual rosewood or is it veneer?

I am new to this forum and am really struggling to attach photos. I think I might need to post a few threads/comments before I can add links or photos. This is a 2017 Custom 24 with what looks like a rosewood headstock face where tuning keys are pulled through.

It would be a rosewood veneer. I’ve never done anything to them.
