Leave the age or not?

Quick question for everyone. I just received my first PRS (NGD to come soon). It's a 1996 so the bridge has that aged finish on it. I can't decide whether to leave it or polish it up. So please help me make up my mind. Leave the 21 year age or shiny and new?

Well the strap buttons are the same but the tuners are nice and shiny. Frets have same aged finish but those are getting polished.

Tough call... I suppose you could polish it and then play it until it gets worn again. It might be better if it was your dirt.

I'd buff it, but leave some evidence of the age around the edges maybe.

When you polish it some of the underlying brass may show thru it a look I like

No rust. I use drop D every now and then.
