I am a newby here. Haven't been on a forum in years.....basically since the advent of social media. Figured I'd say hello. And, post a couple of pix of my git-fiddle.

Earlier this year I sold this guitar.........

To fund what has been my dream guitar for years now. I had a similar 10 top in flame natural in the very early 2000's that I sold to get the last couple of grand together to open my shop. She was the one that got away. Until I picked up this girl here...........

Those pics were from the ad I ran to sell my Whale Blue CU22......And the ad from Reverb that made me sell it after seeing "MY" guitar.

This one is her sitting on my couch........

Sweet! You don't see very many naturals, and one-piece tops aren't common either. That one is really nice. I see she even has good taste in Scotch...

Welcome to the community.

This was the one I had in the early 2000's that I was trying to "replace". I was so upset that I got rid of it that I stopped playing for about a decade (even though I had other guitars). As you can see, even the strap is d*mned near the same.....but "upgraded".

Sorry for the old, scanned picture. There wasn't much digital photography in 2001......lol

Welcome! Great entrance and one can never go wrong with Braz!

Whoa! Now that's what making an entrance! Welcome to the asylum...uh...I mean the forum! Glad you're here!

Sweet guitars!!
Excellent entry to the forum...welcome.

Welcome.

That blue though...DAYUM.
That blue was the one and only thing I didn't like about that guitar. It played and sounded PERFECT. Had Dragon 1's in it....Wide Fat neck....PERFECT.

BUT, I couldn't get into that dark finish. It had a quilt that was pretty nice, but if it wasn't in good lighting (or sun light like in the pictures there) you couldn't see it because the finish was so dark. But, it was in as close to mint condition as you could get for the age that it was. So, since I got a GREAT deal on it, I bought it. Understanding that even though it wasn't the perfect overall guitar for me, that it would be for someone. So, when I found the one I have now, I started negotiations to get rid of the blue one and get the Brazilian. It all worked out in the end. :D
