Is the SE Stoptail bridge the same as the USA Stoptail (aside from the studs)?

Bought a used SE Stoptail bridge for use in an old CU22 I'm picking up. (The original owner replaced the original bridge with a tone pros adjustable that I dont like the looks of.)

Was surprised by how light and "hollow" feeling the SE bridge was. Is this legit or did I get a counterfeit?

They are a little bit different. I believe the Core is milled, while the SE is cast. The Core had a different plating and then later no plating at all.

I once had an SE and an old Core wraparound and they weighed exactly the same, down to the gram. They are very light.
