Fast nut question

Can I use this old unused nut; ACC-4204, wide-thin/fat,stoptail on my PS McCarty Pattern neck?

When I quickly read something about a fast nut I expected a whole 'nother type of post......

Yeah, that`s what my ex-girlfriend used to say about her ex-husband. Anyway, Joern, theoretically the nut will work. I`d hold it over the one that is on the guitar, and check the string spacing for a match. While I`m at it, I always recommend having a luthier put the nut on.
To me, it`s the single most critical component on a new, used, foreign, or American PRS.
