Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Pi

OK Grainger owners and future owners of the SE Kingfisher and Kestrel, EHX just came out with a pint size version of its Bass Big Muff Pi.

I recently got the new Big Muff Pi for regular guitar, I wonder how it would work with bass, or if you need one of the bass ones instead.

From what I understand, the bass ones work fine for guitar, as well as bass. I would imagine the regular guitar one would therefore not be ideal for guitar, but might get you some fuzzy sounds.

I'm actually in the midst of deciding which fuzz effect pedal to get (for a regular guitar) - an EHX Big Muff of one type or another, or a "tribute" / clone style, like a Mojo Hand Iron Bell. So this thread interests me.

I wish I had my original EHX Big Muff from around '72.
That thing was killer, and I bet would be worth some $$$ today.
Got rid of a lot of my stuff when I got married in '81.
The new one I picked up a month back is very nice though.
They came out with the bass one first, then the guitar one.
