Does pickup swap require pots replacement?

Let's say I have a 2011 Custom 24 (from the core line) and I want to replace the 59/09 pickups with a set of the \m/ (Metal) pickups, does a pickup swap like this require that the pots also be replaced as well?

Nope. If you're doing it yourself then it may be worth having a new set of pots and a cap to hand in case the heat from the iron damages them. Other than that the existing pots and cap are just fine.
