Dating CE24 ?

Serial (on neck plate) : 6 71 32 73

1996 is what the seller tells me too.
I expected to see a 7 instead of the 6...Is this usual ?

I read that the alder bodies had been replaced by mahogany from 95. Can we still find some after this date like mine ?

yep, 1996
6 as 1st number is year made (86, 96, 06, etc)
7 as 2nd number designates CE model up until 98 and they began using CE instead.
13273 is serial number which jives with PRS identification of 1996 span of numbers.

What Dave said. The 7 identifies it as a bolt on neck. The 6 is the year designator and the rest is the serial number. Not unusual for something started in 95 to be finished in 96, so the alder body is possible.
