CE-24 with a rosewood neck

No prob - I know there’s a stigma because it’s Yamaha, but, if you can find one of these high end L series, you’ll be impressed. The one linked below has rosewood back and sides with the 5 ply mahogany/rosewood neck:

I think I’ve talked myself out of it already. I pulled it out and I’ve been playing it for the last hour since posting...I forgot how nice it is as is.

But still, has anyone ever heard of a CE with a rosewood neck?

What about getting "part" of the way there and "satin" sand the neck?

It’d be really nice if they did offer a neck replacement somehow - I think there is at least a small market for us CE guys.

Yeah - that’s a good idea since I’m really going for feel more than a tonal change. The only problem is that they say they can’t upgrade the tuners on a vintage neck do to thickness and angle, I believe. But I guess I could just have them refin out the dings and satin treat the neck. Any idea what that would cost?

No clue myself, but I bet you can get a quote from PTC if you call or email them.
