Perhaps more to the point, playing two Marshall stacks, loud the way it was meant to be!

One epic night of my life was spent hauling a load of British tourists through a cataclysmic rain storm from Stevensville down to Apehangers (damn near in Virginia) to watch Frankie's band play a Saturday night set that included the best rendition of Freebird I've ever heard. If you're of a certain age and went out at all (unlike the present day) you've heard that done a gazillion times, better and worse. Frankie and his band just killed it -- they did not phone it in!

I have been here off and on since Birds and Moons was shut down. However, I must have missed the card thread.

Really sad news. Shocked with Craig two days before and now Frankie. I didn’t make the card list, but I’ve been here (BAM/PRS Forum/TGP) since the beginning. Frankie was definitely an inspiration for my love of well played opaque PRS guitars.

Such an incredible shock.
