Can't ID my PRS

Hey everybody, I'm cleaning up a bolt neck PRS and I can't seem to get a good date or model from my serial number, the number is 378899, the guitar is a bolt neck with dot inlays and what looks to be a AAA or AAAA maple top in what was originally a deep purple finish

I would appreciate any help or info that will help me identify this guitar.

They don’t rate tops in the A’s method.

Bolt on with dots should be older CE, early 90’s I think.

24, just a few minutes ago I found a couple on reverb.com, so I'm pretty sure it's a 1993, it seems that the earlier year models had 6 digit serial numbers.

Based on the serial site I was gonna guess ‘94 so not far off.

You are lucky the strippers only messed with your serial number. Most strippers I know will go after your wallet.

It was "pre factory" so they thought they found a gold mine.

Heck with the wallet!!!
