If you're happy without the binding, buy guitars without bindings. If you like bindings, buy guitars with bindings.

If you're not sure you can tell the difference, there probably isn't a difference.

Me too. Brushed nickel totally floats my boat.

Binding never really showed up on my radar, but I do know that it presents a challenge if/when it's time for new frets.

Well, how's this for timing. I got a call from my dealer this morning. My new DGT has arrived. I drove down to Lexington to pick it up during lunch. It does have the binding. I'll try to get some photos tonight and post my NGD.

Me too. LOVE body binding, but HATE neck binding. just my own little warped ways!
