Understandable. In that case I would just keep cruising Reverb/Ebay until you find the right guitar/deal.

Phil McKnight said the SE 245 is his favorite SE in the latest video. Interesting. Anyone else have an opinion on that? Otherwise I keep debating a se Paul’s guitar, Zach Myers, or perhaps the s2 McCarty thinline. I ended up selling my old MIM strat for a new strat player. Are any of these PRS’s too similar to the strat or a great complement in terms of doing different things?

I do have an opinion. Not worth much but. I started out on a borrowed Strat but fell in love with Prs because of how the necks felt.
I like the feel of everything ive tried. Including the silver sky. But my favorite is wide fat.
The se 245 and Zach are both shorter scale length Which I also prefer but the difference between them that I focused on was the weight. 245 felt quite heavy. Zach nice and light
Having said all that the S2 McCarty thinline seems like heaven. (I’ve never seen one ).
