An easy, user friendly PRS Buyers Guide 2023

so folks I have had a few people ask me which PRS guitar to buy. Varying from beginners to casual guitarists. It can be quite daunting as there are so many models and almost all of them are the same shape ( of course the singlecut and hollowbody shapes are different).

Of course I've had conversations but I also wanted to refer them to good video resources. Browsing through all that was available in Youtube land, there are a few videos but none that I believe are succinct, structured, comprehensive and suitable in range for both the casual and involved.

So of course I decided to make it myself, leveraging the knowledge I have gained from having ..gasp 43 PRS's ( i just counted them yesterday). I am going to make five videos, one on each of the ranges as PRS classifies them (Core, Bolt on, S2, SE, Private Stock). This is video no 1 on the core. I hope this can be a useful resource

Isn’t that what we all did/trying to do? Just get one of each and then one in each colour? Problems solved!!!

I thought of getting into it (neck profiles) but that would be too much detail for the non involved. What I should mention though is generally thinner neck and fatter neck. Will do that in the next video

All in on buying one of each. If I don't like it then it moves on. I've only moved 1 of the 7 PRSi I have purchased.
