Hi guys and gals, just wanted to share an interesting page I stumbled upon while searching for answers and really found this to be helpful for the first steps in trying to pinpoint issues and Rob Robinette did a great job with packing it full with simple sentences that make a lot of sense. Maybe some of you already know about it, but for those that don't, like I didn't, it may prove to be invaluable.

Here it is: https://robrobinette.com/Tube_Guitar_Amp_Troubleshooting.htm

Robinette’s pages are really great. I used some of his guided to mod my kit tube amp.

Well familiar with that in my previous life (aka, when I was building and modding amps).

I had two previous lives. In one of them, I was Augustus Caesar. In the other one, I was a gigolo.

I'm having a difficult time deciding which life was more fun.

Probably the same amount of ladies. Maybe a little less “stabby” being a gigolo!

Yeah, tough choice. I’d go gigolo.
