I love it when other artists cover & do tributes, BET award shows are known for this and when it comes to R&B that's about as good as it gets.
On top of that Chaka is my girl, I learned so much bluesy leads from emulating her chops on the guitar.

Interesting stuff!! Great vocals, solid pitch, at first it reminded me of the Style Counsel from the 80's but he does a whole lot more with it.
A few twists and turns in the arranging too, pretty cool material, has some jazzy elements. Nice.

Yeah, they’re a talented group of guys. I’d prefer them to be a little more Gap Band but, it’s hard to say no to playing with them.
