Why small frets on the Silver Sky?

I've been playing 7.25" radius necks with vintage frets for years so I didn't think it was an odd choice at all. Jumbo frets on the other hand would seem just wrong. It doesn't surprise me that someone that has played vintage Fenders would prefer a vintage feel to the neck. I also understand how those specs just wouldn't work for some people. I can play poorly on just about anything so the frets really don't hinder me in any way.
