Similar issue in my case. I hated the TCI pickups. I LOVE the OG Narrow 408/Paul's pickup. So much more tone...in my opinion, of course.

Hey @Glide-bpm , that's too bad it never really worked for you. And that's a lot of coin to tie up with an underutilized instrument.

But I also understand how that can happen - my two WLs get played the least of my PRSi (except maybe the Al DiMeola - heaviest 6-string PRS I have!), possibly because I'm paranoid about playing the two most expensive guitars I own, and also because they are somewhat unique in tone and most of the time I'm playing something like one of my piezo-electrics (e.g. SCHBII) where I want to be able to switch back and forth from pseudo-acoustic to electric growl easily - which is what I did on the weekend. Or the previous gig where I played my Silver Sky because it was apropos to the set list (very rock'n'roll) and was just my latest fave to play.

Maybe I'll grab my WL MEV tonight to mess with! I've got some new material to work on, and the different tone/feel might inspire me...
