Used McCarty arrived today, is this a 10-top?

Nice score, I used to have one of these. Looks like the bridge has been swapped out. Not sure if your aware but it has a Nitro finish......

Looks like it's sporting a Schroeder bridge.

Thanks. I just dropped it off at my local tech for setup. Restringing with NYXL 10s, adjusting action and conditioning the fretboard. It will be ready in a day or two, but sadly I’m away for ten days (6 days military duty and then off to Canada to see Paul McCartney).

I can’t wait to play it when I get home.

If you haven't seen Paul live before, you are in for a treat. How a guy that old can have that much energy is beyond me.

I don’t think so; the Teds were nitro, but that was a smaller run. The rest were V12, if memory serves.

So is it or is it not Nitro? I’m not familiar with v12.

I don't believe it is nitro. I do not recall the McCarty ever coming with a Nitro finish, outside of special runs.

So are you, or are you not asking someone who has never seen the guitar in person whether the finish is V12 or nitro?

I gave the info I have. Call PRS. Meantime, V12 is not nitro.
