Silver Sky is rad; therefore the time is right for a Jimmy Herring signature. “Ginger Sky” is low hanging fruit, but maybe the JRU-1 (Jimmy Rescue Unit)? Dunno, just riffing.
But….he needs a 25.5” scale S style guitar. I totally totally understand why he has transitioned to PRS in recent years; a production Custom 22 probably smokes his Gene Baker strat build. PRS is superior in every way, but the ultimate Jimmy Herring Signature is a 25.5” s style PRS with all the appointments.
I could go on and on about how this makes sense to the ears and eyes, but for now, perhaps someone could text, fax, call, email, and write this message to the PRS superstar that’s going to take the lead on this project.
