Per the universe, the time has come for a Jimmy Herring Signature- (not Silver) Sky

Premise is an HH, non-7.25“ counterpart to the Silver Sky. Also, a rosewood board because Jimmy generally prefers it over maple.

Perhaps some new PRS humbuckers voiced like his Lollars?

Definitely would be the flattest radius they offer since Jimmy prefers somewhere in the teens, though he seems totally fine shredding on 10”

As a product offering, it checks a lot of “other” boxes for the Sky that people kinda grumble about, although I know PRS is selling Skys faster than they can make them. Regardless, just saying that this would be a worthy sku that fills a void practically and spiritually (the Jimmy-obsessed amongst us will understand the zen and chi ramifications of this)

any takers?

Jimmy is pretty well known to love the NF3. I’m sure you know more than I, he plays some Fenders too.

That said, PRS could bring back the customized NF3 as the JH model, which would be awesome. They brought the Studio back…at least a limited run would be sweet.

Exactly. He’s even using the DC3 on his new promo material for his tour with John McLaughlin. But between scale length and all the new updates, I think the Sky platform is most appropriate.

Regardless, someone get that man a signature!

ps. I will work for free doing ANY job related to this model; seriously, I will.

Paul told me he's been searching for a good indentured servant, preferably a butler or footman.

You're going to need the right outfits to pull either one off correctly, though. The minimum commitment is five years, but you do get Christmas off and free room and board in the servant's quarters.

Think it over, there's time. ;)

Bonus: The footman gets to polish the Porsche!

Dude, I’m 42, with a mortgage, and I would drop out of grad school TODAY to be his go-pher; one would be a fool to pass up that opportunity. You cant buy the knowledge he has to offer both practically and artistically. What he did with this company is remarkable, putting it in the realm of Southwest, IKEA, and Apple- total market disruption, penetration, and innovation.

Those last 4 words sound like a porn movie title. Ok, showing myself out now. You’d think I’d know better at my age…
