Silver sky floating trem?

Hi, what’s the general idea on changing a core silver sky to a floating trem?
Should I shim the neck or just leave it as it is?
I’ve seen a video saying to shim it by 2x 2/23’s!
That seems high to me!
Any advice would be happily received.

Is that Skitchy's video? I'd take that as the authoritative word. Especially if you want to keep the action close to spec.
