What a great concert. Right up the with Clapton.

And, of course, Mr. Walsh was there with his Sig 594. He, like so many of them now, changed guitars every song. Nothing more than a guess but I would say 1/4 of the night he was on his PRS.

A great, great show. Steely Dan opened

I would have loved to see that show!
We saw an Eagles tribute band near here that did a fantastic job. But to see the boys on tour…

Back in the early 90s I caught the Eagles on their Hell Freezes Over tour--- the most I ever spent on a pair of tickets LOL! Back then Joe was playing mostly Les Pauls and Teles. Caught him several times on his various solo tours... one with Glenn Fry which was a blast!

During Joe's "Analog Man" tour date I caught, he played mostly Duesenberg guitars. It was a great show!

Joe's played/endorsed A LOT of different guitars over the years... even Carvin for a while. On one of the promotional videos for the Carvin "Carved Top" (its version of a PRS), Joe mentions that the bridge layout used was just the way Gibson did it back in the 50s, with the bridge sitting really low on the body. Interestingly he said nearly the same exact thing in a video when promoting His recent PRS model.

When this Eagles tour comes to an end, I expect to see another solo album from Joe-- which I remember hearing was completed before the Eagles thing was formalized. When he does go out on his own, that's a tour I'll go out of my way to catch. With any luck he'll play more PRS guitars ;)

In 1994 I was going to school in Pheonix. I live in L.A. I wanted to see the Hell Freezes Over tour, but even nosebleeds were going for over 500 bucks back home. I gave up. Then, a week later they played in AZ. On a lark my roommate and I went down to see if there were scalpers. We got tickets for 16 bucks a piece. Great show.

I think I've seen the Eagles 6 times. Have never seen a bad show either. Could have been 7 when I was in Dallas in March '19 but I'd just seen them the fall before that and I figured $250 USD a pop was a bit extravagant considering we only paid $300 CND for two seats in September thanks to an Amex special deal.
I could tell a very sad story about the cost of our Hell Freezes Over Tour tickets but I don't need to embarrass myself that badly. One of the reasons I don't imbibe anymore...But at least I made up for my stupidity and we did manage to go. If I get a chance, I will still go to the Farewell Tour, to me they are still worth seeing again.
Plus I've never seen Steely Dan so. I thought I'd heard that they (one of them) were having some health issues and missed a couple of the dates though...
@matonanjin really glad you got to see that concert and enjoyed it so much!

I got to see them in South Bend in 1974. They had a big banner behind them of the On The Border album cover. Don Felder was a new Eagle as of that album. The opener was Kevin Cronin, solo. Set me back $6.
I also saw them at IU Assembly hall in the 70s, then at the Miami River Music Festival in 1975. It was a mini-Woodstock festival with REO, Marshall Tucker Band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Earl Scruggs Review, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, and a few others. We worked our way to the front of the stage for Fleetwood Mac and Eagles. Quite a concert (as I remember!)

I have never seen the Eagles. I did see Joe Walsh back in 1974-ish on the “The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get” tour at the Paramount in Seattle. Tickets were general admission, like $6. Probably like $30 in today’s money? Back when you had to go to the cool record store in your area to buy the tickets.

I remember those days fondly. Saw Walsh solo in '84 at a place called the Col Ballroom in Davenport, IA. Maybe holds 800 to 1000, all standing. Great show. An hour on acoustic, and two hours of electric. Managed to see the Eagles in 2013 at the United Center in Chicago. That was the "History of the Eagles Tour.' Can't believe it was 11 years ago.
