However, I always advise having an external hard drive with backups, photos, documents, and other data since you never know when it will fail! One day I learned it the hard way...
Lenovo is into selling extended warrantys.
Spend $200 -400 on an extended warranty and they'll fix it free for years to come.
Mine's still under warranty.
But I'd still rather fix it myself...if that's possible.
