Hi.
I need some help with My C24 2010 LTD Wiring.

It's a 5 way switch blade that died.

Since I live in Brazil, it's very hard to find the exactly original PRS wafle switch.

Found an Oak Grisby super switch and would like some help.

Is there anyone with that switch installed or a similar one?

Thanks.

I don't have any diagrams of the stock settings with a super switch, but it would be easy to translate because the PRS switch is just a stripped down super switch.

If there are any positions you don't currently use, now is a great opportunity to customize the wiring.

I confesso that I'm Lost. Hahaha.
Will take It to a tech, even having soldering skills.

I had a little free time, so here is the stock PRS selections adapted to super switch.

Worked great.
Mine 59/09 have hot/ground colors reversed.

Bridge Hot = Black
Bridge Ground = White

Neck Hot = White
Neck Ground = Black

Sounds good now, but very noisy.

Does bare wire goes together with Ground?

Thanks.

Actually, here's a better way to wire the switch. The wire from ground side to the pot casing will be a little longer, but the jumpers connecting the poles will be much shorter.

The right pole "out to volume pot casing" needs to be changed to "tone casing".

By the way, worked great. Did the second wiring, re did all connections, now sounds open and fuller.

Just need to know why position 4 buzz very annoying when I touch bridge pickup.

Cool, thanks. I was wondering if it might be better to run ground to the tone pot in that scenario.

Are your 59/09 the original pickups, or replacements?
Can you confirm that the slug coils (not the screw sides) are the ones active in 2 and 4? You can check by lightly tapping the poles with a flathead screwdriver in each position.

Originals ones, without TM engraved.
Worked great, but I did some changes and one revision since now I understand how the switch works (after your drawing).

The revision: bridge hot (upper left) need to be just the 3 first poles (from left to right).

With 4 pole it buzz att position 4.

My mod was just at pos4: Neck HB+Bridge Slug. I like this way.

Thanks again for your support.
