Pots scratchy only when both pickups engaged

Drives me nuts. If you select either pickup, the volume and tone knobs are silent. If you select both pickups, the volume and tone knobs are scratchy. This is on my Zach Myers. I've sprayed the switch and pots with Deoxit, but no love.

Sure makes me think it's the switch. I'd replace it, the stock ones aren't known for the highest quality.

That may work, it says 1/2" shaft diameter but I'm not sure what size the Zach is stock. There's of course the PRS Core replacement at: https://www.amazon.com/PRS-Toggle-Switch-Singlecut-ACC-4118/dp/B07CP1BFCN - pricey though.

I don't think that will fit. When I opened it up to spray it, it looked more like the other switch. There's not much room in there. I'm just not sure if the short one will fit. I'll have to Google around a bit. Thanks!

Flipping down to the treble pickup to melt faces with a scorching solo (NOT), I often get very low signal. It's a 2020 model so shouldn't have corrosion, but I've tried Deoxit. It does work sometimes so it feels like it's probably in the switch mechanicals or contacts. Any easy fixes or should...

Go with switchcraft short. It’s the easiest swap. I’ve done it multiple times on ZM

Crap. I replaced the switch. Still doing it. Frickin' the wires were so damn short too. Might just replace all the pots and re-wire everything.
