Pickup Help for a McCarty DC 245 with Rosewood Neck...

Hey Guys ... I recently purchased a McCarty DC 245 with the solid Rosewood Neck from Willcut's wood library run...Love the guitar but I need a higher gain bridge pickup. I don’t play modern metal but more in the vein of older 80’s metal (Priest Maiden etc.)

Normally this would be a no brainer for me, however with the Rosewood neck I want to be careful and get the right fit...

My questions were:

Does the PRS \m/ Pickup have a lot of mids like a Duncan Distortion would have?

Does anyone have any experience using the \m/ Pickup with a Rosewood Neck?

Any other pickup suggestions? I was thinking about the Bare Knuckles Painkiller….

That is what is in there now. It is a great pup but I have other guitars for that Hot PAF thing. I want to use this specific guitar for tighter metal and add some more Mids..
