A local collector is downsizing his collection of guitars and has a number of PRS models up for sale.
He has a McCarty goldtop soap bar, McCarty in strawberry metallic, McCarty all mahogany soap bar, McCarty 10 top flame, CE24 flame top, custom 24 artists pack and a 2000 single cut flame top.
I have sold on some of my unused gear so I can afford one of these and he will even bring a pair of them to my home for me to try out.
Which one would users on this forum grab first?
The all mahogany McCarty is said to have featured in the NAMM show some years back.
The McCarty 10 top is the one that appeals to me the most.

The McCarty 10 will make you happy.

There was a bunch of artist Custom 24 with amazing quilts around 2009. If it is one of those take a look. Breath taking.

McCarty goldtop soapbar is pretty special. That would likely be the one I would start with.

Every time I haven’t bought the one I wanted, the ghost of TOIW haunted me.

The singlecut is non trem but I have decided against it.
I am only taking one because I scored a 2007 custom 22 a couple of weeks ago.
