NGD Belated - Satin Vela

I am way late on this new guitar day. Thanks to James at The Guitar Store in Seattle for the flawless transaction and vision to scoop these guitars up from the factory. This thing plays like a dream and the satin is awesome. The neck feels amazing!!!

I had to sign a 5 year contract with the wife to not purchase another guitar if she let me get this one.

Very nice! That satin finish with that stain color looks amazing! If it plays as nice as it looks I'd say it's worth it for the 5 year moratorium on purchases, although does the contract make any mention of trading other goods for more guitars?

I'd have loved (preferred) the satin version, but i'd already gotten my Vela before they came out.

I'll have to get my satin fix with a Std. 24 S2!
