This thread reminded me to play my JA-15 a bit more, so I used it at last night's band practice. Started out by playing the one blues-jazz song I wrote for one of our CDs, so it got me into the mood.

The JA-15 really does well with all kinds of clean tones (including being run through an Acoustic Emulator pedal) and light dirt. Was quite a nice treat!

I need to swap amps around for the "practice room" - currently going into my Sweet 16, but would like to use my HXDA a bit more. I feel like the JA-15 does really well with amp dirt, better than pedal dirt. Or maybe just placebo effect - it is different, and I am bored of pedal dirt, so amp dirt better!

I often use my HXDA with my band. I like to run in through a power attenuator, though. It’s just so darn loud without it. This way, I can get awesome tone at lower volumes.
