My Stripped 58 has 57/08 pickups that are weaker than I'd like...

I found that raising the bridge pick up on my 57/08 gets a fatter tone by having it much closer to the strings And also having more output that balances better with the neck pick up

I have it dialed in to the sweet spot to my ears. Don't get me wrong. I love the pickup's tones, but the wishful thinking is a hair more push in a perfect world. I play clean or cleanish a lot and use my guitar knobs a ton. I absolutely dig my SC58.

57/08s are very responsive to height adjustments.

Great guitars those '11 Stripped 58's are.

Mine's currently set at the PRS spec for the bridge (2.5/32” [1.9mm] on the treble side 3.5/32” [2.8mm] on the bass side)
What are your bridge string heights?
