Mark Holcomb SVN SE stock string questin

Hi all, new here and looking to pick up the Mark Holcomb SVN SE.

Does anyone know if that particular guitar comes stock from PRS with coated strings? I hate coated strings, and was going to have sweetwater change them out as well as the nut, and do a full setup, but ONLY if the strings from PRS are coated.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I don’t believe it does. In fact, I just checked mine, which still has the original strings too many years later. They seem to be normal strings to me. I use Elixirs almost exclusively, and these aren’t those.

Thanks! I ended up seeing my favorite strings there, so I ended up having them changed anyway.

PRS "stock" strings are their particular recipe of D'Addario strings.

Which, frankly, are my favorites, as it turns out.
