I'm thinking about replacing the regular wraparound stop tail of my MC58 with a MannMade 2300 bridge.

I heard a lot of praises about this bridge, but also heard it sticks out a higher than the OEM bridge so it's hard to get the action low.

I like my action 3/64" on the last fret... would this be a problem with this bridge?

Thanks.

That would be a John Mann question. Give him a call, he will answer his phone and he's a nice guy.

It depends on the individual guitar...
The depth of the slot works great on most guitars, but if the neck angle is slightly shallow (which does happen) than the strings would be a bit higher.
There are several solutions, including filing the string slots down a bit lower, or I have custom modified the studs to drop the bridge down even lower.
