I would like to have the output jack on the side like

So I don't have to deal with an angled plug on the front jack plate.

I use an EQ pedal to achieve lots of different tones in my projects, it simply becomes second nature.

The right tools and techniques will solve this.

Likewise, I have a Boss GE 7 on my board and use it when in SS positions 2 & 4 to get the tone I am looking for when soloing
