Help - pickup ring taper orientation on Custom 22

I thought I was being so careful and thorough....

Just swapped pickups in my Custom 22 but didn’t take note of pickup ring orientation with regards to the taper. It’s a 2018 Custom 22 with a trem, has seemingly matching pickup rings both of which are tapered with one end a little thicker than the other.

So, question is....does thick end go towards bridge or neck on each pickup?

Think I need to flip one..but not sure which one and picture don’t seem to show it well from google search.
