Found a Private Stock in Pawn Shop

This pawn shop is directly across the street from a bunch of casinos in downtown Reno, so anything is possible. I really doubt the 'loan' given on this guitar to tide the poor sap over until he struck it rich was more than a grand. If it was and/or the pawn shop really understood guitars then they would be taking better care of it and not sticking adhesive all over the neck. I am betting the person who hocked this beauty walked out with 4 or 500 bucks at most and never looked back. There is no such thing as paying fair price in the pawn shop world.

Somebody is really sad they didn't redeem that beauty from the pawn shop. What a shame.

Yep. I talked to the manager and he said he looked at the original bill of sale when the guy brought it in. He said, "I saw the guitar was bought for 15k, so we gave the seller a really good cash offer that he couldn't say no to". I suspect the seller wasn't the original owner. Before I would buy a guitar like this from a source like that I would check with PRS to double check that this guitar hasn't been reported lost by the original buyer.
