I had a warranty neck refinish on my new S2 Singlecut Dark Cherry Burst. In production, a small finish miss at the FB join to the mahogany neck allowed my premium wax to lift the finish at the 11th fret. It came back looking great but the middle of the back has a very noticeable 1/8th" dia. fisheye which also is the natural color instead of the dark cherry. Would you insist upon another trip to warranty? I have not alerted Matt King, head of warranty. It has been back with me for about 3 months and I just have not made up my mind.
