I've had an 81 in the bridge of an SE Custom for a while, love it, want to add a neck pickup to it. Looking at 66 and 81 primarily because they have splittable versions. Any thoughts on these options? The 66 in particular seems lesser known.
The 60 is commonly used in the neck, I'd consider it as well but it is not splittable. And the 89 is another popular one but I hesitate about adding a pickup voiced for warmth.
