DGT Std neck inlays

Messing around with a friend's DGT Standard I noticed the moon inlays seemed brighter and the opposing piece seemed like brass or a copperish metal...was that the normal inlay? It's really neat, but didn't remember this from before...

I have one, too, and I had noticed the same thing. Much more "vivid" than my 2008 Mira with moons. Personally, I LOVE the look. Coppery, yeah.

It's tough to capture in a photo since the angle shifts everything, but mine appear almost white, on the moon sliver. Here's a very horrible pic of a very dirty Mr. Clean...ironically.
